Science of Soulmates theory: a cosmology centered on a fundamental life force underlying the universe that has been detected on scientific instruments. The evidence reveals a fundamental energy field existing as two individual and unique patterns. This is theorized to be the source of existence and the source of soulmates.
The Science of Soulmates is a complete cosmology, based on evidence, revealing that there is a fundamental life force underlying the universe and that it has shown up on scientific instruments. Scientific evidence reveals a fundamental energy field existing as two unique patterns. A plethora of hard evidence, logical deduction and philosophical necessity points to this energy pattern as being the source of existence and the source of soulmates.
What is the meaning of existence? This is the most fundamental question human beings can ask. It is the first question. But have we, as modern humans, asked it? Have we, with our tremendous resources and with the power of science, actually asked this question, and opened up a serious investigation to find the answer? Incredibly, it seems we have not. We do have some answers. These answers are within the multitude of religious beliefs. But these answers are over a thousand years old. And it is odd that in a modern world these are still our only answers. There were also ancient answers to other questions regarding human evolution, astronomy, and medicine, all of which have been proved to be vastly incorrect by our modern science and technology. But still we believe the ancient answers given to the meaning of our existence. It is not our fault. There has been no contempory solution offered. Why isn’t there an answer from science, our most trusted and successful tool that has brought us a technologically amazing world? As Professor Paul Davies remarked in his book, The Mind of God, science can answer the ‘how’ questions, but to answer the ‘why’, why does the Universe exist, it is going to need help:
‘We are barred from ultimate knowledge, from ultimate explanation, by the very rules of reasoning that prompt us to seek such an explanation in the first place. If we wish to progress beyond, we have to embrace a different concept of “understanding” from that of rational explanation. Possibly the mystical path is a way to such an understanding. I have never had a mystical experience myself, but I keep an open mind about the value of such experiences. Maybe they provide the only route beyond the limits to which science and philosophy can take us, the only possible path to the Ultimate…
‘The essence of mystical experience… is a type of shortcut to truth, a direct and unmediated contact with a perceived ultimate reality.’ [ Paul Davies. Mind Of God. Simon & Schuster, London, 1992. P.231.]
So it is necessary to provide a modern answer to the meaning of the Universe. To do this, the full faculties of human knowledge and understanding must be employed, that is: Science, philosophy and mysticism. Science and philosophy are familiar tools, but mysticism may need a little clarification. Mysticism is something we are all connected with. It involves the higher faculties of our human self. It has been called the sixth sense, intuition, and the supernatural. But its essence is an intimate involvement with existence. It is attuned to the aesthetic sense. In the same way as we ‘feel’ beautiful music, or respond to visual beauty, this sense is a type of awareness of its own. A mystic can use this sense to ‘feel’ the universe, and ‘know’ something of its secrets, something of its meaning. So when we talk of the mystical experience, it is the utilisation of the aesthetic sense, which we all use, but with mysticism it is applied to the whole of existence itself.
Science without mysticism cannot answer the ultimate question of why the universe exists and what is its purpose. And the mystical view without science does not have the need for concrete facts and logic that a real answer requires.
But does there have to be a meaning of the universe? The answer is no. And to many, it doesn’t matter if there is a meaning or not. However, if there were a meaning, then it would matter very much, because there would be a purpose for our lives that we would be destined to fulfill. Mystics would say ‘of course there’s a meaning’, because they have felt it. But what does Science say?
Scientists have said that the probability of the universe forming the way it has by chance alone is comparable to the probability that a monkey, bashing away at a typewriter, could in one attempt write the complete works of Shakespeare, word for word and with no mistakes. When we think about the odds against something happening as say, a million to one against, we would probably compare it to something like the lottery: the odds against wining are high, but someone does win. However, when seen in the example of the monkey at a typewriter, the practically impossible odds can be realised. So from the evidence it looks as though the universe is designed in some way.
It is a matter of reviewing our basic way of thinking about reality.
Science has, in trying to show the universe as an accident, ironically proved the opposite. Because of this, scientists have conceded that there seems to be some sort of underlying order; meaning that there is a non-accidental system at work. To take this further, once we accommodate the notion of some sort of non-accidental order we cannot escape applying rationality to that order and this leads to the conclusion of perfection. That is, if the universe is ordered it must be ordered for a purpose, and logically it must be perfectly capable of carrying out that purpose.
We can’t have it both ways. Science’s methods have revealed that the probability that the universe is unfolding according to some underlying order or design is enormous. Once conceded, scientists must not avoid applying rationality to this order; the same rationality that exposed the order in the first place. Once we admit to order we are saying that the universe is non-accidental. So, boom! We have existence - ordered existence. A non-accidental system! Order can’t come about by accident; therefore it must have already been there. This order, which underlies all existence, cannot be flawed. Therefore this order must be perfectly capable of organising the universe.
This order also must have a reason for existing. It makes no sense at all to have an ordered system for no reason. If there is no reason or necessity for the order, we would have no order. Now if, for clarification, we call the reason for the order meaning, then we can see that that the universe is a system whose purpose is to fulfill that meaning. We should then be able to find the meaning through deduction by looking at what is going on in the universe, remembering that absolutely everything must be a part of the design, including us!
Scientists and researchers who have admitted to the overwhelming evidence for a design have reasoned that the design seems to be geared around bringing consciousness into existence. And this makes sense, because if the living universe is to be fulfilled then it would need to be self-aware. To be properly aware of its Self, the universe would have to be an intimate part of its own awareness. In other words, to be self-aware is not the same as other aware beings gazing upon you. You must be that awareness. Therefore the Self of the universe must be the highly aware beings within the universe. Since we are self-aware, aware of the universe and aware that we are aware of it all, logic asserts that we must be the Self of the universe, the Self of existence. Since we are capable of knowing, feeling and understanding all of existence, this is evidence that we are the awareness of existence. The source of existence, therefore, must be comprised of Two energies, because we are two distinct beings: male and female. As above so below. This argument may seem circular, but it’s not; the argument has a source and a deduction. The source is the order that underlies all existence that logic tells us must be perfectly capable of organising the universe, and the deduction is that all that is around us must be the result of the design.
If we are the awareness of the Self of existence then the beings or source of this Self, reason dictates, must be non-aware; otherwise we would not need to exist to provide awareness. The need of the Two to awaken answers the basic philosophical objection to religion that asks that there be a reason for an ultimate being’s or a god’s existence. What’s more is that we know that this is a valid self-contained reason because it is also our own reason for existence. To awaken to ourselves and find our other, is the core drive of our lives. And this is the final confirmation: if the universe is capable of reflecting its meaning perfectly, then we should, as the consciousness of the universe, be the perfect reflection of this meaning.
The theory outlined in the book The Science of Soulmates, is a self-consistent, evidence confirming truth, and it is the only truth that logically fits all the necessary criteria for a non-accidental universe.
And for you, this means that somewhere out there, you have a one and only love, who you are destined to be with...
